We are always being shaped, made, refined… The process is humbling…provokes introspection…awakens revelations and eventually brings a kind of glory that could never be achieved without it.
Mainstream is often the dream, but not necessarily the prize. Sometimes we’ve got to go against the grain to make the difference God called us to make in this world. Sometimes we’ve got to make the unpopular choice. Are you willing to go the opposite way?
I am filled with much expectation going into the year 2011. Year in review? I made it….I made it this far. As I reflect throughout this week, I can see God’s hand in all I experienced/endured/celebrated in 2010. I have grown tremendously – and learned. I made connections with awesome people and I have treasured every step of the journey. 2011 here I come. Thank you Daddy God!
…I’m after new dimensions. A climb I can only take if I stay true to the message. I’m sticking with the message… walking it out… can’t just talk the talk. I’ve got to walk the talk. “Don’t have to tear nobody down to lift yourself. All you gotta do is Live Right”.
God has been good

My heart is so full… God truly is an INCREDIBLE God… I lift my hands in adoration, in gratitude and in humility. He has done great things, bless His holy name…

…in order to keep focused on your purpose you need to have a clear vision of your success. Without that it is too easy to become caught up in a spirit of competitiveness because you are being driven by someone else’s “picture”. Know what you are called to do, who you are called to, the path you will take and see your “big picture”…. peace!
…marketing and promoting an Indie music project is hard work… lol… it takes ingenuity, resolve and a willingness to fail forward… “we fall down and we get up” (smile). I don’t always have the kind of time I would like… but I realize that a little done each day takes me one step closer to an end goal. What I want more than anything is an opportunity to share the messages I’m given with as many as I can. That means I can never ever give up. I can never be afraid to continually try new avenues of contact, and I can never do it in my own strength.
I spent most of this week connecting with radio program directors or owners, tweaking marketing material, handling mailouts, posting facebook statuses, posting facebook statuses, posting facebook statuses and trying to learn a bit more about tweeting. I debut at #9 on the CJB Radio charts and #8 on IMG’s Top 10 Music Charts in Gospel Now Magazine, spent some time working on a Press Kit and did I already say working on facebook (lol). Keep your dream alive… You’re closer than you think.
