God is a good God. What more can I say? His mercies are new every morning. Today I am celebrating His Excellency…
Great is His faithfulness.
Wow. What an event. This was a rich experience. I have been trying for a long time now to get some real talk and we got it at this Conference. At the end of the day many Independent Artists (in attendance) who are truly interested in honing their craft would agree that the information we received, if used correctly, can only make us better at our craft and the presentation of the message. We are also more equipped to both connect and work together with industry stakeholders who can provide the assistance we need for a more refined process. I truly appreciate Phillip Carter and Earl Bynum for their vision. The content greatly exceeded expectations… and I love that we “had church” in the midst of it all.
One of my fave colors is burnt orange. I never considered why that was until yesterday. Flying high above the clouds during sunset. I looked out the window of the airplane and saw such rich vibrant colors, so close I could almost touch them. That is when I realized the reason for my strong attraction to the color. It reminds me of THAT sunset hue….
Quite a lot has happened since I returned from the concert in St. Croix Virgin Islands. I have been juggling ministry tasks and events with my day to day assignments….arrggghhhhh… challenging but rewarding. I haven’t had as much time as I used to for my social networking, but I’m getting back to it. I am just grateful for all that is happening right now. Looking forward to the Indie Artist Gospel Alliance Conference in Virginia….excited about meeting a lot of people that I was introduced to and now “socialize” with on facebook. I’m trying to carve out more time to manage marketing functions, but it’s getting tight. I had someone lined up in April to shoot a video for my song Live Right and that did not work out, but I am still going to do it – just have to find someone else. I am starting a fan newsletter. I used to just send the information out via e-mail, but I want a more refined look to share my “Awesome Happenings”….whew! More to come soon…
I will be at the EBON Temple in Orlando tonight at 7:00 p.m. for the Gospel Star Search Kickoff Concert. Looking forward to it.
St. Croix Virgin Islands… Here I come! ☺
…I am so excited about what God is doing in my music ministry. It feels like He suddenly opened a door and a perpetually refreshing shower of rain is pouring over my life. I am humbled, excited, revived, weary, exhilarated, refreshed… I KNOW, a wonderful contradiction… His grace is sufficient.
Todays words are “Vindication” and “Retroactive”. Don’t worry about plans that seem to have fallen through the cracks…. You will be vindicated and everything that seemed lost is going to be restored, RETROACTIVELY… that means God’s going to go waayyy back and reinstate it ALL
